Merry, Queer, and Bright

by Brooke Lindley

Misanthropic actor Reese thought they were lucky when they found a direct flight to Kalamazoo from LA to attend the Christmas day grand opening of their friend's new queer bar. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. Cancelled, delayed, and rerouted, Reese gets caught in a transportation whirlwind just trying to make it home for the holidays. Things get worse when they meet the forever cheerful Julien, a baker from Denver trying to make it home to compete in her grandma's annual cookie competition. Twisting and turning their way through planes, trains, and automobiles, the race to make it to Kalamazoo before Christmas is on. A holiday romantic comedy that has all your favorite Hallmark tropes, Merry, Queer, and Bright is just what everyone needs to warm your heart, revel in mirth, and feel a little closer to your found family this season.
