Merry, Queer, and Bright
by Brooke Lindley
Merry, Queer, and Bright is a humorous, queer, Hallmark-inspired Christmas play that follows four lifelong friends—each from different parts of the U.S.—as they embark on a journey to reunite in their hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the holidays. Through a series of hilarious and heartfelt road trip mishaps, the play captures the joy, chaos, and deep bonds of chosen family. Merry, Queer, and Bright blends witty dialogue, campy humor, and heartfelt moments in the spirit of classic holiday comedies. Think Planes, Trains & Automobiles meets Christmas on Holly Lane with a big dose of queer humor that leaves audiences laughing and feeling warm inside.
