Isaac James
They/He
Isaac James has been both a participant and spectator of the fine arts scene in Kalamazoo for a decade since attending Western Michigan University (BM, Vocal Performance, 2019) in 2015. An early student of classic rock, jazz, blues, and 20th Century popular culture since the days of their childhood spent in Niles, Michigan; as a singer, actor, pianist, conductor, and composer, it is these aforementioned genres’ influences that proudly intersect with Isaac’s education within the field of Western classical performance and appreciation for music theory conceived as early as the Renaissance period. In this role, they hope to make a probing and sympathetic impact on your life in a way you can take with you for a lifetime. Or at the very least, yuck it up for an hour; whatever you might need in the moment! They give a special “thank you” to the cast and crew for their unwavering support and creative energy and to Queer Theatre Kalamazoo for this ongoing shared space for our community.
